Ladies and gentlemen, we may be seeing the tween-idol power couple to beat all power couples emerging.
Despite their contentious past, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus went out for a dinner date on Monday night, enjoying sushi—which, as everyone knows, is the most erotic of all seafoods—at Ari-Ya in West Hollywood last night.
Notably absent from the intimate dinner? Miley's supposed boyfriend and The Last Song co-star, Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth. Uh-oh.
When asked about the date by waiting paparazzi, Bieber coyly noted that the Hannah Montana star is "having fun with me." Consider our eyebrow raised, Mr. Bieber.
They're an unlikely couple, given that Cyrus has stated that she's "not necessarily a fan" of the My World heartthrob, and Bieber is on record as expressing disdain for the music of Miley and the rest of her Disney ilk. Perhaps it's a case of opposites attracting? or an elaborate ruse to throw people off the scent of their budding romance? We're through the looking glass here, people...
Oh, and the couples' excuse for sucking down sushi together? They were discussing a "side project"—which makes total sense for two people who don't like each other's music, right?
What do you think is going on here? Share your thoughts in the comments section, because quite frankly we're getting dizzy just contemplating the possibilities.

Sinceramente, nao acho que eles estajam saindo em um encontro!!
